Play Tennis
You are never to young, or to old, to start playing tennis. It is a sociable sport which can give people of all ages a great deal of enjoyment (and is also a great way for you to keep fit).
I am currently based at three venues in the area:
- East Grinstead Sports Club,
- Dormansland Tennis Club,
- Ashurst Wood Tennis Club.
I am also able to coach at schools or run private sessions if you have your own tennis courts.
Children
Getting children out on a court from a young age can help bring out their natural skills and ability and introduce the sport to them in a fun way. Mini Tennis is suitable for the under-10s and has been specially designed to introduce children to the sport. Mini Tennis has three levels, with each stage gradually becoming more difficult.
Under 18s
Once children have progressed through the Mini Tennis stages and learnt the fundamental aspects they can continue to enjoy playing the sport. As the children I coach progress and become more skilled at the games I will provide regular opportunities for them to compete by organising club based and external tournaments. I, myself, played tennis from a very young age and still have a number of friends who I have played tennis with for years.
Adults
New to the sport - Just because you have reached adulthood and never picked up a racket before it doesn't mean that you can't still enjoy the sport and become a competent player. Tennis can provide even us adults with exercise in a sociable and engaging environment.
Already play - If you have have already experienced the game but would like to improve your shots or perhaps are interested in joining a club so that you can play more regularly then Advantageover can help you too.
